Auto mechanic-ism

Thanks to craft glue and 3/4" black foam tape I fixed a very troublesome problem and saved myself 300 bucks!

Riding in my car has never been a particularly enjoyable event. Anyone who has ever tried to have a conversation from the back seat can attest to it. It has sounded like a hurricane in the back seat ever since the weather stripping surrounding the doors mysteriously disappeared...ok maybe not so mysteriously but it was gone nevertheless. Anyway this problem has plagued me for several years and I thought that the only remedy was to have it professionally replaced.
Oh contrare mon amie!
30 minutes and 0nly minor injuries later the days of my wind tunnle car were over!

Also! I finished that scarf I was talking about today! Look for it on etsy soon!

Thrifting

Yesterday I went to goodwill to acquire some new threads for myself and for future projects. I came upon an absolutely hideous dress. I mean this thing was epic. Imagine a black and red polka dotted tee shirt covered in puffy paint with a hounds tooth wool skirt attached at the bottom. Of course I had to buy it. After all it was only 25 cents.
I also bought a beautiful tie and am trying to decide what to do with it. I've seen a lot of ideas and I am excited to start experimenting.
No progress on the scarf yet but I'm looking forward to working on it later today. At this point in my life all I want to do is drink coffee with friends, craft and thrift but I am really trying to stay motivated to graduate!
That's it for now! I'm off to drawing class!

Ok so for serious! I'm doing this!

Hi friends and followers. I am going to try really REALLY hard not to ignore my blog as I have ignored so many others!
I am currently knitting an extra long cowl neck scarf using a stitch I just learned called the moss stitch. I want to make it long enough to wrap around your neck two or three times. I'll post pictures when I figure this one out!
I also found the way sweetest blog today called Ann Wood Handmade.
Pay special attention to her shipwreck piece and castle. They are awesome!
